Walter C. (Walt) Tinney Memorial Automotive Scholarship

The Walter C. (Walt) Tinney Memorial Automotive Scholarship was created in 2022 by his loving family and friends to honor Walt’s 18 years in the Automotive program at LCC; first as a student graduating from the program in 2001 at the age of 68 and then as an employee retiring at the age of 82 in 2016. Walt unselfishly shared his knowledge, experience and wisdom with family, friends, and students during his years at LCC. It is that legacy of giving we wish to continue by offering a scholarship to LCC automotive students who have financial need and a minimum 2.0 GPA. Scholarship is renewable.
