George and Katherine Beisse Family Scholarship

The George and Katherine Beisse Family Endowed Scholarship was established by the Beisse family in 2022. The annual award amount of $1,000 is intended to support a student graduating from R.A. Long High School or alternatively, Kelso High School. The successful applicant shall be pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree, majoring in elementary or secondary education (or similar program). Preference to candidates with financial need and those from under-represented demographics (such as, but not limited to, first in family college attendee, Native American or Alaskan Native, Black, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, applicant with disabilities, applicant from disadvantaged backgrounds). The scholarship is renewable for a second year if criteria continues to be met.
