The Mike Dugaw Fighting Smelt Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Mike Dugaw Fighting Smelt Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2012 by Mike Dugaw with the intent of providing scholarships to students who participate in LCC’s forensics program into perpetuity. After Mike’s passing in 2018, the Dugaw family and LCC forensics staff renewed efforts to fully fund the endowment through tribute donations. To be considered, applicants must have a minimum 2.8 GPA, and participate in LCC’s speech and debate program and have financial need (considered, but not required).
