Wertheimer Endowed Scholarship

The Wertheimer Endowed Scholarship was created as a result of Jeanne Wertheimer’s generous donation of Ferguson’s Restaurant to the Lower Columbia College Foundation in 1994. In 1999, the restaurant was sold and the proceeds created an endowment which began funding student scholarships. To qualify for the scholarship students must be full time, pursuing an Associate’s Degree, participate in community service activities and who does not receive Financial Aid but has financial need.
