Harvey J. and Marcella M. Mashinter Memorial Social Science Endowed Scholarship

The Harvey J. and Marcella M. Mashinter Memorial Social Science Endowed Scholarship was established in 2005. Marcella Mashinter, Harvey’s wife, created the scholarship to honor her husband, who taught history and philosophy at LCC from 1967 until his retirement in 1989. Eligible students must be full time, preparing to enter their second year, majoring in the Social Sciences including: history, philosophy, political science, anthropology, sociology, or psychology and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
