Terrie Hughes Memorial Scholarship

The Terrie Hughes Memorial Scholarship was established in 2020 by Kenney Tarango and Stephanie Dunnavant in memory of Kenney’s mother, Terrie. Terrie, a single mom who returned to school to get her GED, tragically passed away at the age of 29 of a massive asthma attack shortly after earning her college degree leaving behind Kenney and his twin sister. This scholarship is intended for students who are single parents, taking at least 6 credits, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have financial need, with first preference to a student who obtained their GED.
