Mary Floriene Rountree Memorial Scholarship

The Mary Floreine Rountree Memorial Scholarship was established in 2018 by Sandy Rountree in honor of her mother’s tenacity during her 40 year nursing career. Floriene, who had a physical disability, overcame barriers associated with her disability by becoming a successful surgical and recovery room nurse. This scholarship honor her “I can do it anyway” attitude. This scholarship is intended for a student accepted into the LCC Nursing program with a minimum 3.0 GPA. First preference to a student with a physical disability. Scholarship is renewable for a second year.
