Lt. George Dunn Scholarship

The Lt. George Dunn Scholarship was established in 2015 by the late Lt. Jim Mosley, in honor of his friend and mentor’s highly ethical career with the Longview Police Department. Recipient must be majoring in criminal justice with the intent of entering law enforcement, have a 3.0 or higher GPA. First preference to members of the Longview Cadet Program. Applicant must answer the following essay: How will your experience as a Longview Police Cadet prepare you to achieve your future goals? or if you are not a Longview Police Cadet, please explain why you want to become a police officer and how you personal experiences will make you a good police officer.
