Rosedale Vocational Scholarship

The Rosedale Vocational Scholarship was established in 2019 by Rosemary Powelson-Bailey in honor of her husband, Dale Bailey, a skilled craftsman who built wooden boats. The scholarship is named after their boat the “Rosedale” built by Dale. The scholarship is available to student residents from Washington and Oregon majoring in vocational trades such as: diesel, heavy equipment, machine trades, manufacturing, multicraft trades, and welding. Applicants must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and share how they are paying for college and share what inspired them to pursue their current vocational trades degree path. Scholarship is renewable for a second year.
