American Indian Hand-in-Hand Scholarship

The American Indian Hand-in-Hand Scholarship was established in 1985. Kelso High School, in coordination with the Indian Education program holds the annual Kelso Pow-Wow, to raise funds for Native Americans attending LCC who need financial assistance. In order to be eligible applicants must be enrolled in the Indian Education Program through Kelso School District, maintain a cumulative minimum 2.5 GPA, be in good academic standing, enrolled with a minimum of 10 credits, submit an essay outlining education and career goals, and provide an explanation of how college is being paid for. Applicants must also request a recommendation from the Kelso School District Indian Education Coordinator.
